In this outdoor living space the home owners wanted to create a yard that had a sense of privacy from near by neighbors but also had areas for entertaining and places for their kids to play. We created a design that incorporated the need for a larger entertaining area with privacy by installing a paver patio that was surrounded by larger shrubs and trees. Incorporated into the landscape was also an area for a trampoline where their kids could hangout and play around without taking up space in the lawn and creating an obstacle for mowing around.

In this outdoor living space the home owners wanted to add onto the existing landscape that we had installed a few years prior to better entertain guests. Originally we installed the pond with a series of waterfalls that faced their sunroom for easy viewing. The sunroom originally sat above the existing grade and had a few steps coming out of the door. We were able to create a new design that eliminated the steps by bringing a paver patio up to the grade of the sunroom door. This added much needed patio space and an outdoor bar for hanging out around and entertaining guest. A smaller patio was also created closer to the pond so that the home owners would better be able to interact with and enjoy their outdoor living space.

In this outdoor living space the home owners wanted to add color to their yard, while keeping with the more natural feel of their home. We created a landscape that consisted of native plant material, natural stone, and wood mulch in order to compliment the architecture of the home. The entrance was designed with a paver walkway and a large perennial bed that you journey through while walking to the front door. In the back yard a paver patio was installed to create a space for entertaining family and friends while enjoying the site and sounds of the Missouri River.

For this outdoor living spaces the home owners wanted to eliminate the steep hill in their backyard so they wouldn’t have to struggle with mowing it. Their home is also located next to the main road for the development, the home owners wanted to block out as much of the traffic as possible without sacrificing the view of the valley below. The project was achieved by reshaping the hill and turning it into a rock garden with numerous perennials and shrubs. That will grow in and block out the view of the traffic while still leaving the views of the valley open from the patio and eliminating the need to struggle with mowing.

In this outdoor living space the home owners wanted to transform their extra space into an area that they could walk through, interact with and relax in while they were hanging out on the beach. We designed and installed a paver walkway that journeyed throughout the lot with numerous large perennials, shrubs, a fountain, and a paver patio for a place to sit and eat while enjoying the shade of the large trees. Down along the beach edge we transformed the hill into a flagstone path and patio where they could layout and relax on a nice summer day while being surrounded by various perennials and the sound of the water gently splashing against the rocks.

This commercial site is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. The goal was to cut down on water usage for watering the existing grass surrounding the site. In order to achieve what the customer wanted we redesigned the existing lawn space into numerous walkways that curved throughout uniquely designed planting beds that were filled with drought hardy plants. The result was a relaxing area where employees could take their breaks, while also dramatically reducing the amount of water usage for property maintenance.
